The brief

Ideas made easy to feel.

The Last Ticket is a 3D Christmas short for RCMRD’s Regional Centre of Excellence. In a teddy-bear world at East Valley Station, James gives up his train ticket so a family can travel home, and kindness finds its way back to him. It is told without dialogue, through gesture, music and festive light.

For the Biodiversity Outlook for Eastern and Southern Africa (BOESA), we made a motion-design film that follows the journey from geospatial data to maps, case studies, tools and conservation action, finishing on the BOESA identity.

In 2026 we animated the RCoE-ESA mascots in their hub of tools, from the geoportal to training and policy briefs, to celebrate RCMRD’s Esri Special Achievement in GIS (SAG) Award for building Africa’s conservation GIS.
